Terms & Conditions of Service
TM-Maha Services Terms & Condition
At TM-MahaServices Ltd., we are committed to delivering high-quality property repair, refurbishment, and maintenance services with professionalism, transparency, and integrity. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as they form the basis of our service agreement.
1. Quotes & Estimates
All quotes provided by TM-MahaServices Ltd. are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Quotes are based on the information available at the time and may be subject to additional costs if extra work or unforeseen repairs are required.
Any such additional work will be communicated to the client before proceeding.
2. Deposits & Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking/start date.
Deposits are non-refundable unless TM-MahaServices Ltd. is unable to commence or complete the work due to unforeseen circumstances.
If the customer cancels a job after paying the deposit, the refund cannot be guaranteed, as materials may already have been purchased.
Standard payment structure:
60% deposit at booking
40% balance due upon completion of the works, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
If a customer changes the start date at short notice and an alternative date cannot be agreed upon, the deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation within 5 working days of the agreed start date may incur a charge of 20% of the total job cost.
4. Materials & Procurement
Materials required for works will either be:
Supplied by TM-MahaServices Ltd., in which case a handling/administration fee of up to 15% may be added to the cost.
Supplied by the client, who must ensure materials are delivered and available before the start date.
If client-supplied materials are not available on the agreed start date, delays may incur additional charges (e.g., daily labour holding costs).
5. Scope of Work & Exclusions
The agreed quote covers only the work and materials specified in writing.
Exclusions include (but are not limited to):
Parking charges (client must provide permits or cover related costs).
Congestion and ULEZ charges, if applicable.
Any Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) incurred due to lack of access/permits will be charged to the client plus a 20% admin fee.
Additional works not quoted for, or unforeseen repairs discovered during the project, which will be billed separately.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure safe, clear access to the property and notify TM-MahaServices Ltd. of any restrictions (e.g., parking, permits, health & safety hazards).
Clients must ensure that electricity, water, and other necessary services are available during works.
7. Invoicing & Payment
Final invoices are issued upon completion of the agreed work.
Payments are due within 7 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may incur additional charges.
8. Work Guarantee
TM-MahaServices Ltd. provides a 3-months guarantee on workmanship for completed projects unless otherwise specified in writing.
Guarantees do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, weather conditions, or third-party interference.
9. Liability
TM-MahaServices Ltd. will take reasonable care to protect client property, but we cannot accept liability for:
Pre-existing structural issues, hidden defects, or faulty installations not carried out by us.
Delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., material shortages, weather conditions).
10. Agreement
By confirming a booking or paying a deposit, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
